As unique as WVU itself, the WVU Visitors Center combines cutting-edge video and digital technology, campus tours with friendly, knowledgeable guides, and traditional West Virginia hospitality to create a sense of how the University can start making your dreams come true.
A visit, combined with a campus tour, is the perfect way to introduce you to an institution that combines academic excellence with affordability and a vibrant student body with groundbreaking research.
To schedule a guided tour you must first call ahead to make reservations, as well as to receive detailed directions to WVU. If you want to meet a specific department representative or attend a class, it can be arranged. We can provide campus maps, parking information, and local lodging details, so you can stay a few days and enjoy some of the local festivals and scenery. Other activities, such as meetings with professors and attending a class, can sometimes be arranged.
Tours occur twice a day, six days a week (with some exceptions).
