With members from more than 20 African nations, the African Student Association (ASA) promotes unity among African students on campus and helps members become acquainted with the US culture and educational system.

Members share their cultural traditions with the WVU community through many different international events, including Africa Week organized by ASA during the spring semester. Africa Week culminates with the popular Africa Night celebration that showcases African culture. Highlights include African food, fashion, dance, and music.

Membership is open to anyone, including former students and non-students with a genuine interest in ASA.
