“I love teaching chemistry and helping excite students to the wonders of chemistry and its application in everyday life,” says Dr. Jennifer Robertson-Honecker, a WVU graduate who now shares her love of chemistry with college students and science teachers.
As a teaching assistant professor in C. Eugene Bennett Department of Chemistry, she develops laboratory experiments and classroom exercises that put chemistry course content in a real-world context.
“The chemistry department has a wonderful group of faculty and staff who are dedicated to helping students, graduate and undergraduate, succeed in chemistry.”
She teaches introductory chemistry, science education courses for pre-service teachers, and continuing education courses for in-service science teachers.
